The Mountains
The Biggest Ski Experience in America! Big Sky's Dakota Lift is a triple chair that improves access to Bavarian Forest and the recently opened 212 acres of Dakota Territories. The Biggest Skiing in America™ is now even bigger, and Biggest Skiing in America™ passholders have access to over 5,500 acres.

In 2009-2010, Big Sky offers 3,812 acres of skiable terrain accessed by 21 lifts while Moonlight Basin will offer 2,900 acres of skiable terrain accessed by 7 lifts.

The new Dakota Lift is located on the south face of Lone Mountain below Liberty Bowl, and Dakota Territories is primarily open bowl skiing at an intermediate angle. The new lift is 3,100 feet long, has a vertical rise of 1,210 feet.

Moonlight Basin Resort
Located on the north side of Lone Mountain, Moonlight Basin is "Montana's New Frontier." In addition to a high level of guest service and genuine Montana hospitality, the terrain in Moonlight Basin is great for families and adrenaline junkies alike.

Big Sky Ski Resort
Big Sky Resort is famous for its non-existent lift lines, vertical drop, and lots and lots of snow. Skiing Big Sky Montana is like skiing a place all your own. Trails range from easy-cruisers and mire challenging intermediate runs, to extreme terrain and chute skiing. The centerpiece of Big Sky is the 11,166-foot Lone Mountain, served by the 15 person Lone Peak tram. Step out onto the summit for a 360 degrees view and expert-only terrain.
