Ski Camps are a great way for kids to try skiing for the first time or improve their skills. At Big Sky, there are half-day lessons, full-day lessons, or a full-day package that includes, morning and afternoon activities.
To register for children's ski camp, go to the desk in the Snowcrest Lodge the afternoon before or the day of lessons. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. No reservations are needed for group lessons.
Small Fry Try (ages 3-4)
A perfect introduction for those age 3 to 4 who are giving skiing a try for the first time ever with one-on-one instruction. Your kids will have a safe, fun-filled 45-minute lesson on the snow. Lessons begin at 9:00 a.m. $60 per session, daycare and ski rental not included.
Mini Camp (ages 4-6) and Ski Camp (ages 6-12)
Mini Camp has a smaller child per instructor ratio during the lesson. Within the group, children are placed in ski lessons according to the skills they demonstrate. With our flexible daily schedule you can choose to have your child with us or with you during any time of the day!
Teen Mountain Experience (ages 13-17)
Designed for those between the ages of 13 and 17 who have outgrown ski camp. Led by a fun and knowledgeable coach, explore Big Sky Resort with other teenage skiers. The focus is on fun and lots of mileage while refining technique. Full-day and half-day groups are available for all abilities, from first-timeers to all-mountain experts. The Teen Mountain Experience is offered Christmas Week (Dec. 24, 2003 - Jan. 1, 2004), and President's Week (Feb. 15 - Feb. 22, 2004). Half Day (9:45am-11:45am or 1:00pm-3:30pm) $46 Full Day $83

Snowboard School
Big Sky Snowboard School is the place to be if you or your family are looking to learn how to snowboard or to improve your existing skills. With an emphasis on safety, fun and learning, our instructors teach snowboarding while showing students how to enjoy the mountain in a safe and responsible manner. Whether you are an absolute beginner or a seasoned rider, the Big Sky Snowboard School has a lesson for you.
Private lessons are offered at all of these and higher levels of instruction with a focus on freestyle, all mountain freeriding, or alpine carving. The demand for these lessons is high, advance reservations are recommended.
